3 Weeks Remaining in F15

11/29/2015

Hi Parents!

We are in the process of wrapping up the Fall 2015 semester. There are 3 weeks remaining. The Pacing Guides that list the due dates for the courses finish on 12/11, leaving one week for students to wrap up any missing assignments. ALL WORK IS DUE BY 12/17. I will also be gone the final week of the semester traveling. Grades will be updated upon my return and before grades are due for the semester. Final grades will be posted by January 3rd.

I encourage you to help your student manage the stress of the end of the semester by helping them to budget time and organize/prioritize their work. Students are still young and developing these abilities. They often get bogged down at this time of year leading to a lot of frustration and heartache.

Students who are significantly behind are encouraged to contact me about the possibility of an extension for the course. Extensions are an agreed upon additional time to complete work for the course with a clear deadline. They offer the flexibility that some students need to complete the courses to the best of their ability.

If you have any questions, please contact me!
Sincerely, Ms. A
